In Waves We Go Under

We hid in the caves

We played in the waves

We swam until we

Could swim no more

I reached for your hand

My hair filled with sand

Sun Shining down

On the shore

Like children in flight

Hearts filled with delight

We loved until

Our spirits did soar

Lost in your brown eyes

My heart was so high

I held you

And asked for no more

Before the threshold

In new days of old

Your smile filled mere

With love so pure

With you on this beach

I know we could reach

To brothers and sisters

Ashore

So hear the pied piper

The fruit it grows riper

I love you

I know that I’m sure

So come take my hand

We’ll travel the land

And love

Until we can love no more
