We better find refuge

We’re boats far from shore

Lost out at sea

In spirit we are poor


We all need refuge

A warm open loving heart

Shelter from all storms

That rage and tear apart


*We better find refuge

Storms they crash

We better find refuge

Cause the good times never last

These bodies just don’t last

 

I call on my refuge

Pray for wisdom

Healing Nectar

From celestial Kingdoms


Wake up in the Way

Let’s live this life

We can transform our suffering

Darkness to light

 

*We better find refuge

Storms they crash

We better find refuge

Cause the good times just don’t last

These bodies just don’t last


We all pass from this life

We leave this earth

Give now while we can

Cause at death it will have no worth

 

Only within Refuge

Can we cross this sea

Wake up to realize

We all can be free


*We better find refuge

These bodies just don’t last

All things they pass

All things they pass


There only refuge

No one’s at my door

To pat me on the back

For good deeds done before

 

Safe within refuge

Is radiant blissful joy

At last our ignorance

Can finally be destroyed

Become refuge

Dissolve into love

Blending the universe

Earth and the stars above

 

We all must find our refuge

Let’s listen, learn the Way

Seeing our true nature

Missing Self *** Yikes, my family has become concerned by my inability to find any solid fixed self, what to do? Best to keep quiet about my suspicion of their lack of inherent self. And who or what has been doing this searching and looking anyhow, like a gerbil spinning on a wheel?
