Can feel the tide to turning

Hear your words burning

Telling me what you’ve been doing

Thought I was just paranoid

But the truth been realized

Hasn’t it silent woman

 

My insides have been torn up

Guts are thrown up

Eyes are bleeding

 

Before your words stilled my mind

Then my heart felt the lies

A fool I did not listen

 

My dreams have crumbled

False expectations have tumbled

Truth is painful

 

Dances danced too often

Think I’d learn a lesson

Instead of acting your script

 

Now I see your crying

I’m fighting here trying

Not to slip into your grip

 

I can see beyond your tears

What I see is fear

Want no part of it

 

My ears hear you pleading

Know what you’re needing

Let someone else live the breaking

 

Go your own way

Couldn’t bother when I needed you to stay

Now that honest words have come

The deeds have been done
