Forces build Me Up
Forces break me down
Storms flow through days 
years drop like leaves 
In Autumn
Love sprouts
From an eternal spring
Yet the desert finds its way
Into fertile Valleys
Shiva dances the endless dance

And of everyday life
Ideology rules the world
Like moles 
Humans stumble through days
free lucid moments
Break patterns momentarily 
to become new habits

Religions are born
Tear down the old 
To die themselves
In hollow stone 
institutions
Made to be eternal

The elements 
Mock our vain attempts
The Great Pyramids
Well, they turn to dust 
And one day 
The sun no longer shines

These are the true landmarks 
on my map of life
Pointing out the way
For those who 
wish to live truly 

Why build your house upon the sand?

Missing Self *** Yikes, my family has become concerned by my inability to find any solid fixed self, what to do? Best to keep quiet about my suspicion of their lack of inherent self. And who or what has been doing this searching and looking anyhow, like a gerbil spinning on a wheel?
