Falling down
Abiding 
Love within is
Found

Night blooming flowers
Missing link
Sacred spirit empowers 
Take a drink

Medicine of millennia 
Forgotten to time
Native people singing
Our spirit climbs

Ancient medicine 
Missing link
Within nature
We must be
In Sync

We destroy our home
We destroy each other
Why can’t we see
The earth is our mother

Modern world
Killing nature
Why don't we
Think
Disaster comes 
Round the bend
In a wink

Consciousness
Needed
On the brink
Without 
Awareness 
We sink

Great love 
Winds
Blow
Blessings
Our way
Open
Your heart
Grow

Humble
Let us be
In the sacred
Kingdom
We destroy
Every day

Nature is no
“Dead language”
This creation
Lives

We need ritual
Healers
Thinking/feeling
Loving
Spiritual
Beings
To
Initiate
The young
Into a
New way
Of living
Loving
Interconnected
Full
Empty
Appearing
Love

Earth warriors
Get back
To the Tao
Be like
Water
Flow
Strive not
Yet see
Action comes
Spontaneously
Trust
“inner”
Manifest
“outer”
And make
Nothing
Of it

The battle for life 
Not over
Have no fear
Raise the battle Flag
Flag of love
We will struggle 
No surrender
To the last
Breath
We will no sacrifice
Future generations
Upon the altars of 
Nihilism
We will love the haters
Wherever they abide
Until they find the love
That affirms life
From the inside

Missing Self *** Yikes, my family has become concerned by my inability to find any solid fixed self, what to do? Best to keep quiet about my suspicion of their lack of inherent self. And who or what has been doing this searching and looking anyhow, like a gerbil spinning on a wheel? Those Buddhists,  I tell you, they appear so peaceful  (sometimes ) but are secretly a radical group of self deniers, how wonderfully subversive.  Maybe I have been a Buddhist all along and just realized it. But then I look for the Buddhist and Bam!  Same problem, there's nothing there. I must confess enjoying my nonexistent self today, uh oh, that could mean trouble. Now that I have realized my life is just a dream am wondering what comes next, or if there is a "next." Maybe I will keep looking a little more to be sure no self is to be found.
