Unfolding Flower Of Liberation

We face days of happiness, joy, pain, sorrow 
Lifes suffering sad winds blowing thru barren trees
We only have this moment know not tomorrow 
Life's Impermanence autumn's falling leaves

Reflecting illusory empty selves awaken
Unfixed flowing love river relax smile breathe
Long journey walk fearlessly faith unshaken 
Arriving at our true home refuge sets us free

Good intention pure love mind wisdom key
With love obstructors harm doers run away 
Love protects travelers crossing samsara's perilous sea
Until we all reach the other shore Buddhas guide night and day

All beings true nature pure a sacred power
Root teachers point out our illusory nature 
It is true only Dharma's love can empower
Buddha's melt our fixed "self" a sacred flower

Pith instructions Bardo's highway drive straight don't swerve
Our heart practice within frees us of all doubts
Great teachers precious Buddhas with faith I serve 
Awakens Dharma within growing pure green sprouts

If we live with ethical discipline and love
On wings we fly in blue open skies we soar
Blessings rain healing Dharma nectar above
Drink liberating nectar from celestial springs
Deep inside heart Dharma melodies sing love
Poetry without words shower silent blessings

We walk this path with the hardship it brings
Past mistakes true teacher within absolves
What joy this precious life to encounter Dharma within
Love compassion wisdom spontaneously liberates "fixed self" it dissolves
Guided by holy one's all beings empowered
We all awaken Buddha Nature's spontaneously blossoming flower

Missing Self *** Yikes, my family has become concerned by my inability to find any solid fixed self, what to do? Best to keep quiet about my suspicion of their lack of inherent self. And who or what has been doing this searching and looking anyhow, like a gerbil spinning on a wheel? Those Buddhists,  I tell you, they appear so peaceful  (sometimes ) but are secretly a radical group of self deniers, how wonderfully subversive.  Maybe I have been a Buddhist all along and just realized it. But then I look for the Buddhist and Bam!  Same problem, there's nothing there. I must confess enjoying my nonexistent self today, uh oh, that could mean trouble. Now that I have realized my life is just a dream am wondering what comes next, or if there is a "next." Maybe I will keep looking a little more to be sure no self is to be found.
