Where 2 + 2 Does Not Equal 4

They have become ghosts

Constructs of space and time

I long to be where 2+2 does not equal 4

But there is nowhere to go

Slaughterhouse of history

Mowing down the living


Sprouts of life

Rise through cracks

Broken Earth 

Storm clouds in the East

Ghosts with no home

Falling into desert


Death is everywhere

Waiting

For everyone

Smiling


Green shoots emerge 

From pavement 

Something is missing

Sun no longer shines

No heat

No heart


Where is love?

Ghosts come and go

Everything goes away

Nowhere to go or stay

Nothing to find

No more looking


Surrender

Stop thinking

Flow green

Sprouts 

Growing

Praying


Life

Passing dream

Dream on

Life


Love

Keep the faith

Even if no one believes

It's ok

We fade away

Moon reflecting

Light

Shining grace

On the tired and weary


Life is movement

Life is stillness

Life is uncertain

Life is Love 

Life is tragic


Sweet Grace

Shine your light

Lost sailors at sea

Trying to cross over

We do our best

Sink or touch shore


Faith

Life

Love

Remember

The children

Never forget them


Going inside

Where 2 + 2 

Does not

Equal 4

Fade out

Silence

Missing Self *** Yikes, my family has become concerned by my inability to find any solid fixed self, what to do? Best to keep quiet about my suspicion of their lack of inherent self. And who or what has been doing this searching and looking anyhow, like a gerbil spinning on a wheel?
