Her Wisdom Invisible
Her Wisdom Invisible
***
Wisdom is invisible
Yet it is within
Sight
Snow falls hardens
Thaws and drips
Snowpants
Giggling my daughter
Gains uneven
Ground
Stepping through ice
To a puddle
Sun shines brightly
Or not at all
Clouds everywhere
Sun blazing rays appear
On my wooden
Floor
Clanks and word
Sounds
From children
Far away distant
Playing
Trees move
Willows whisper
Tiny leaves tremor
Bells sparkling
Bodies rooted
In the earth
She is like me
I whisper softly
I love you
Sweet nothings sing
Into the
Ground
Fear dissolves
emptiness
Uncertainty dissolves
Space
We are melting butter
One into another
Finally ocean,
Dawn breaks
Kisses the sky
She laughs
We head home
This moment
We are present
Alive
Someday she
Just like me
Will make her life journey
I will live in her heart
She burns in mine
A warming joy fire
Youth
A rainbow appearing
Which quickly dissapears
Wisdom is invisible
I walk the path
When she calls
I will always come
To be her father
What a gift
As all I know
Passes away
Passes away
Passes

Written by an old father perhaps years ago. Memories of her little playing make me smile. Watching her taking flight on her own fills me with joy, as I wipe away my tears of impermanence.
