We run hide 
Searching outside 
For that which
Can only 
Be found within

Oh how we 
Needlessly suffer
Oh how we cry
Oh how we 
Long for love
Unaware
It Abides
Within 

We instead 
Deceiving
Ourselves 
Ripped apart
On Seas 
Suffering 
Our mast 
Central
Channel 
Splintered
Lost ships
Sinking
Suffering
Drowning
Oceans 
Ignorance 

When we look outside
Result same
Our boats sink
Each time 
We drown 

We don't understand why
Human ignorance
Understandable
All of Us
Equally
Innocently 
Lost

We've been looking 
For love 
Outside
What we believe
Outside external
Since beginningless time
How has this worked
Are we happy
Do we love others
Do we feel loved
Do we Love
Ourselves 

We could search 
Outside for eternity
Same results
Suffering
We Will 
Never 
Find love
Outside
In someone's eyes
Up at the skies
Anywhere 

Holding the keys
We must now
Unlock
Our
Unlocked
Prison 
Doors
Spontaneously
Arising
Cocoon
Egg
Cracking
Opening
Spacious 
Soaring 
Wings
Love
Within
Minds
Sunlight 
Breath 
Resting
Still

True lasting
Unceasingly
Love 
Abides 
Within 
True Nature
Inner Springs
There we
Drink of Love
Never
Ever
Thirsting
Again

Missing Self *** Yikes, my family has become concerned by my inability to find any solid fixed self, what to do? Best to keep quiet about my suspicion of their lack of inherent self. And who or what has been doing this searching and looking anyhow, like a gerbil spinning on a wheel? Those Buddhists,  I tell you, they appear so peaceful  (sometimes ) but are secretly a radical group of self deniers, how wonderfully subversive.  Maybe I have been a Buddhist all along and just realized it. But then I look for the Buddhist and Bam!  Same problem, there's nothing there. I must confess enjoying my nonexistent self today, uh oh, that could mean trouble. Now that I have realized my life is just a dream am wondering what comes next, or if there is a "next." Maybe I will keep looking a little more to be sure no self is to be found.
