The Path Of Indestructible Love: The Road Less Traveled
The Path Of Indestructible Love
The Road Less Traveled
***
Weary of humans
No one did he trust
Of humanity
Himself
Felt weariness
Aversion
Disgust
Believed others
Hurt betrayed him
He fought the World
Seeing himself
A victim
Others
We're to blame
For his
Suffering
He Traveled many roads
Yet he only found strife
In taking the path
Less traveled
Questioned his life
There were times
He wished for death
In pain suffering
Waited
Praying
For his last breath
He came to a place
Alone in the dark
Lost
In stormy seas
Forgotten
Torn tossed
Broken
In the rocks
Endless
Despair
Yet, he persevered
On the dark road
Without light
Said many
Prayers
Performed
Sacred rites
It was then
Met an old man
On a boat
In the violent seas
Of samsara
The old man said
"Don't give up on Love.
You must trust."
Only the wise old man's love
Let him continue on
Knowing the darkest night
Is followed by the dawn
The old man said:
"In life, we walk
Together yet alone
We must see this earth
Is a temporary home."
Hearing these words
The Old man disappeared
At that moment
The man
Came alive
Without fear
He knew
He'd deceived
Himself
Was never
Betrayed
His suffering
Debt of past actions
That had to be paid
He saw within a light
Recognized all being's
True nature was good
Due to ignorance
For so long
He'd misunderstood
He suddenly saw
All beings suffering
Lost in pain
Dorrow
Like him
They suffered
With no true path to follow
He realized all beings
Wished only for happiness
Most beings felt alone
Adrift in darkness
Their lives meaningless
Instead of self-grasping
The man's heart
Opened to others
He recognized
In past lives
All beings
Had been his mother
Recognized humbling truth
He had caused himself
Others pain
Suffering comes from ignorance
There is no one to blame
Wise old man descended from above
"My final teaching for beings
All that lasts is love
Have compassion for yourself
Follow indestructible loves light
The Path Less Traveled"
Darkness gave way
Inner sun shone
Brightly
The man was renewed
On the path
Fear faded
He felt joy
The old man
Helped him
Find his true path
Indestructible
Love
He was older
Yet felt life
More powerfully
His life had a feeling
Of just beginning
The past suffering
Not in vain
Committed
Loving
Helping
Not hurting
Himself
Others
He finally
Recognized
Fleeting life
Precious
In this dream
No time
To waste
All beings
Interconnected
In love
Within
Ine taste
Bubbles echo in the dream
Which is empty yet appears
For all beings
A unique path
Journey of the Heart
Awaits that liberates
All fears and suffering
The man then awoke
Saw within
He was no longer alone
He felt no fear
He felt bliss
Offered it to all beings
Dedicated the merit
For all beings
Awakening slightly from ignorance
Realized in the smallest way
Their true nature
Love
Lasting
Unceasing
Happiness
He finally
Found his true home
His path
Inner love
Radiating out love
To all beings
Ceaselessly
We all have our true path
We can walk
Manifests differently
Many
Names
Traditions
Yet it's essence
One taste
Leading to True Love
Inconceivable Love
Indestructible love
Free from destruction
Absolute
Relative
Love
For all beings
Within
Undying Love
Our True Nature
Awaits
To be discovered
The man knew
He would
Often fail
Make endless
Mistakes
Fall short
Loving
Himself
Others
But it was ok
Making mistakes
No mistake
Mistakes are the path
It is the same
For all beings
Simple embarking
On this journey
Of the heart
Committing
True path
One eventually
Arrives
Home
In the distance
The old man smiled
He realized the man
Would fall and suffer
Be hopelessly lost
Many times
Believing once again
His life meaningless
But he would
Pick himself up
Get back
On his path
Keep going
All the way
Home
Love for all beings
Our true home
One small glimmer
Indestructible Love
Equanimity
Lights up
Darkness
Samsara
Briefly
It is the star
Love light
Leading
All beings
Home
Eventually
All beings
Without exception
Will arrive
Abiding
Within
Unfixed
Indestructible
Inconceivable
Undying
Love
The old man
Smiled again
Vanishing
Without a trace
Fearlessly
Into the sea of suffering
Where much work
Left to be done
To bring
All beings
His lost sheep
Home
