Traveling Hard

I've been out in the Wasteland
I've been Traveling hard 
Trying to reach the further shore
Cause my hearts feeling hard
Never thought the world 
Would be falling apart today
The truth is my dear friends
Everything passes away

I tried to live my life
The best I could 
I know at times
I didn't do the things I should
My heart's been broke 
And I broke others too
In this world of suffering
Tell me what is true

So, I'm in the Final Chapter
And it's time to turn the page
I've wasted so many years
Rotting away in a cage
I'm trying to live in the moment 
Trying to let go of the past
But I know one thing
Only true love
Lasts

Missing Self *** Yikes, my family has become concerned by my inability to find any solid fixed self, what to do? Best to keep quiet about my suspicion of their lack of inherent self. And who or what has been doing this searching and looking anyhow, like a gerbil spinning on a wheel? Those Buddhists,  I tell you, they appear so peaceful  (sometimes ) but are secretly a radical group of self deniers, how wonderfully subversive.  Maybe I have been a Buddhist all along and just realized it. But then I look for the Buddhist and Bam!  Same problem, there's nothing there. I must confess enjoying my nonexistent self today, uh oh, that could mean trouble.
