Without expectations

From my heart

Art


What can I say

My heart's open

So wide

From deep inside

So please forgive me

But as you know

I'm undisciplined

But how can I

Not risk everything

When I feel

Such love

Which I've never

In my life

Felt before 

I've never

Given anyone

But you

The key

To my heart's door


It's your wisdom

Love beauty

It's something

Which transcends age

And since we all

Will grow old

I would accept you

No matter what

You looked like

This is my truth

I'm so brave

I'm so bold


But honestly

Every wrinkle an ornament

Younger women

I've known yes

Indeed

But they're not wise

Their beauty

Does not impress

Nor fill my

Open hearted

Poetic

Needs


However you look

It's fine for me

Appearances 

Are not important

It's your mystery

Kindness

Your wisdom

Your love

Your art

Paintings

Your poetry

Which calls me

To your heart

Missing Self *** Yikes, my family has become concerned by my inability to find any solid fixed self, what to do? Best to keep quiet about my suspicion of their lack of inherent self. And who or what has been doing this searching and looking anyhow, like a gerbil spinning on a wheel? Those Buddhists,  I tell you, they appear so peaceful  (sometimes ) but are secretly a radical group of self deniers, how wonderfully subversive.  Maybe I have been a Buddhist all along and just realized it.
