We Must Move On….

Man walked out of light
Unexpectedly
Falling into darkness
Collapsing
Spiraling
Into the abyss
Madnesses kiss
Oh he did regret
On the wrong horse he did bet
Barren trees winter skies
Somewhere lonely widows cry
All across the world
We must face truth
Devastation
Plagues of mind
Life ends
Birth sickness old age
We all will pass
Of the man I see him
In the distance
Nothing lasts
Setting sun
We crash
Blood red skies
Something inside
Points to the divine
So easy to forget
A cold wave washes over the man
Tasting salt in his mouth
Falling to the sand
Feeling the ocean calling
Feeling old
Yet yet a candle flickers
Life's not over
He stands up
Rejects sunset world
Walking forward
From desolation
Towards
Where are the sun will rise
A brand new day
Rebuilding
Anew
Dawn
No matter how hard
We must move on

Missing Self *** Yikes, my family has become concerned by my inability to find any solid fixed self, what to do? Best to keep quiet about my suspicion of their lack of inherent self. And who or what has been doing this searching and looking anyhow, like a gerbil spinning on a wheel? Those Buddhists,  I tell you, they appear so peaceful  (sometimes ) but are secretly a radical group of self deniers, how wonderfully subversive.  Maybe I have been a Buddhist all along and just realized it. But then I look for the Buddhist and Bam!  Same problem, there's nothing there. I must confess enjoying my nonexistent self today, uh oh, that could mean trouble.
