William Burroughs And His Missing Cat Ed

When one of Burroughs cat's went missing he would cry. 

Really. No joke. Even sob.

When his Cat Ed went missing, he posted the notice below, all over Lawrence, Kansas.

"ED IS MISSING. LOVED ALBINO CAT WHITE ALL OVER. EYES ARE WHITE AND PINKISH. WEARING FLEA COLLAR. REWARD. CALL 841-3905"

I can just see Burroughs, all misty eyed, waiting by the phone, praying someone found his beloved cat Ed.

Now the good news. Ed was found. Only problem was he did not get along with the other cat's, so he ended up living with one of Burroughs friends.

Burroughs missed Ed, but life is sometimes like that, what to do?

So for those who think Burroughs was devoid of love, to you I say MEOW!

Dogs not so much, but cat's without a doubt.

Life is so strange, isn't it?

Missing Self *** Yikes, my family has become concerned by my inability to find any solid fixed self, what to do? Best to keep quiet about my suspicion of their lack of inherent self.
