Love Aspiration Prayer

Love Aspiration Prayer

I aspire to the following 

No matter how dark it gets, 

The darkness bring me down

If the sky falls 

If the planet explodes

The joy in my heart will not be diminished

Human life is so precious 

I will live it to the fullest for others

No matter what happens 

I will do my best 

To love every last sentient being.

As the supreme victor Jigten Sumgon said.

"May all sentient beings, especially my enemies have happiness and the causes of happiness."

We put our enemies first

Nothing can destroy 

The love that exists 

In every heart

Love may be dormant 

Or obscured

It exists in every last sentient being

Even those who do harm

And Jigten Sumgon never said one word that was a lie

Putting our enemies and those who cause harm first is the most profound teaching

We must forgive anyone we perceive hurt us

People hurt others due to ignorance 

If they knew their actions would bring suffering They would not engage in those actions

Because in truth we all seek happiness

The source of happiness is in loving others

As Jesus said on the cross, "Forgive them for they know not what they do."

Ignorance is the root cause of all suffering 

I challenge anyone to prove me wrong

I say this with no pride

I am an end times mad man 

Who will never give up on love

I write these words knowing 

I possess more faults than qualities 

But I know these words are true

May they not be mere words 

May this pathetic 

Practitioner of Dharma 

Learn to put them into practice
