I long for the road

In the midst of contentment

For ever-changing ways

To touch a foreign sea

At heart I'm a nomad 

Wanderer of time and space 

Not connected to any place 

Since I left the warmth of the womb

I'm content now 

In the bed of my lover

But I know how 

Everything changes

This scares and excites me 

With the promise 

Of what may come

But for now I'm here 

Here's where I must be 

To love in each moment 

Is the challenge 

That makes me me 

I shall not be dragged down

By the past or future

I let go of history

I leap into the great mystery

At heart I'm a nomad 

Wanderer of time and space
